Sometimes we can look at an item and find ourselves wondering if we should get rid of it. Simply ask yourself--Does this serve a purpose or bring me great joy? If the answer is no, it is time for it to leave your home. That may mean donating it, passing it along to a family or friend who can use it or ditching it. Try decluttering several hours at a time if you can schedule that into your week, or start with 15 or 20 minutes, if it is something you find difficult. It adds great calm to your life to be surrounded by things that only bring you great joy or serve a purpose and free of clutter!
